How the quality of your images affects your final canvas
Worried your images aren't perfect?
To achieve the best results send us the best quality photo you can.
YOU take the most natural photos and the best results come from
the simplest
of photographs. All picture editing is included.
Just tell us what you would like
to do, maybe the background
or an object removed, use different colours or
you'd like the
picture cropped differently. If you are not sure, you can leave
it up
to us to surprise you.
Ask yourself these questions:
1. Is the photo in focus?
If your image is blurred it can be difficult to extract the details needed for producing your canvas art.
2. Is the subject big enough in the photo?
In general, if the subject fills at least half of a standard photo then your image is good enough to use.
3. Digital images
The main rule being - The higher the Megapixel and image quality setting the better for us. The quickest way for us to receive your photos is via email. If the saved file is over 1MB in size and saved as a .JPG then it is probably good enough quality.
4. Images taken with a camera phone
If your camera phone is 2 Megapixels or more should be adequate to produce your canvas art.
If you are still unsure if your photo can be used send it to us and we will be able to tell you straightaway. Contact us at: yourart@familygallery.co.uk
